I’ve been working on adding successional blooms to the yard to benefit the local pollinators. In other words, I want to have something blooming at all times during the growing season. While my focus is primarily on native plants, I have incorporated the occasional exotic plant or cultivar. I also, unfortunately, have some invasive plants that have popped up into the yard that I have to try to eliminate. Not an easy task! Because the yard is ever-changing, the following pages will be an ongoing work in progress. I’ve divided it out by month, so you can get an idea of what’s blooming in my part of the world.
