The hummingbirds have arrived here in Missouri, so hang up those sugar feeders! I saw a male ruby-throated hummingbird (the only kind we get here) yesterday at my sugar feeder. I’m not sure if it was my hummingbird or if he was just passing through on his way north. Hummingbirds have an incredible memory and will often return to the same yard year after year. The males arrive first to scout out and defend territories and the females arrive about a week or so later.
